After receiving an overwhelming reaction from the crowd at the Australian Auto Show, Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) decided to take the Falcon GT Black Edition concept into production in a limited series. The Falcon GT is the highest performance version of the rear wheel drive Ford Falcon sedan and the Black Edition will be an even better version of this car.

As its name states, “Black Edition”, the car will be blacked out with a Silhouette black paintwork on the body with matt black stripe stickers-43-c.asp”>decals on the hood, wing and sides of the car, blacked out fog lamp bezels, exhaust tips and new five spoke 19? alloys finished in glossy black with black wheel nuts.
The same dark color theme continues in the car’s interior which was updated with a black leather trim, a black finish around the Interior command centre unit, tissue box and door spears and a unique black gear shift badge on manual transmission models.
The car will be powered by the same engine as the Falcon GT, a massive 5.0L supercharged V8 engine which is able to produce 449 hp and 570 Nm of torque.
FPV will produce 125 units of this menacing FVP Falcon GT Black, each of them featuring its own unique build badge and certificate of authenticity and priced at AU $74,290 or about $77,675.
