Johnny’s mk3 fiesta project started as a car just to give him something to and to pass his time with no real plan of what to do with it, One day after giving the car a good wash and polish he decided to go for it and give the car the “rat look” which was a good idea because their were a few parts he was not happy with. Both the bumpers were faded and one of them was split in half and glued back together with super glue and windscreen bond, To get the classic rat look he painted both bumpers matt black and fixed the bumper with cable ties in true rat style.
The next step was to lower the car, he went on the search for lowering springs with no money so in the end he decide to cut the original springs in half and had her decked giving the car an overall better look, he also painted the roof Matt black and sprayed the rear light’s black as well, He then wanted to do a little interior styling so went out and spent 150 euro’s on genuine recaro bucket seats, He then needed some “ice” for his rat look fezzy so he put in a 1200 watt subwoofer and a jvc 50×4 cd head unit, that set him back another 170 euro’s, before long he had spent a good bit of money.
Johnny has decided to get some Matt black alloys to replace the standard steelies he has now to match the roof, bumpers and lights, He also plans to sticker bomb some parts of the car like the petrol cap and the back windows.
We cannot wait to see the next step in johnny’s rat look fiesta, we will be updating the project when he continues with the modification.
Thanks go to Johnny Holden for submitting his project to our website.
