Here we have a very tidy looking Audi S3 Quattro owned and modified by Matt Deakin. The overall styling for this ride is very nice giving it a euro tuner look.
This is the 2001 model Audi s3 quattro in bright imola yellow as you can see “Whoa”. I know this color is not for everybody but i love it!, At the start the car was running at 225 bhp but now with all the modifications and tuning Matt has done it is now running at a very nice 270 bhp.
Matt has modified and de-baffled the charge pipe, installed a miltek cat back exhaust and forged split, modified the airbox and installed a piper cross panel filter. The Audi has also had a revo stage 1 tuning package which gave it that extra bhp.
He has also done the Audi N249 Valve delete modification (This Stops the ecu-controlled N249 solenoid valve from fully opening the DVs when lifting off the throttle and dumping the charge pressure and lets the manifold vacuum (without the vac reservoir) control the amount the DVs open and close corresponding to the amount of negative pressure in the manifold IIRC) and this modification gives smoother throttle response when lifting on and off throttle is the gain, especially noticeable when feathering the throttle round corners.
Regarding the exterior Matt has kept it clean, simple and stylish with some 18 inch black and silver nouvo rims and a fresh respray last year.
For now that’s all we have but keep an eye open for more updates on this great car.
Big thanks go out to Matt Deakin for submitting this awesome Audi to our website.
